Types of Communication

OSMOSIS—this type occurs in informal interaction that is often linked to our habits and this means of communication utilizes a semipermeable membrane called our understanding. Examples includes conversations with friends, acquaintances and so on.

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

1 Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

DIFFUSION—is the scattering of light in many directions as a result of reflection through a translucent material, an example of such materials are words, scriptures. This type occurs in formal communication and learning such as preaching, teaching etc.

Matthew 13:1-23

 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
